My curious April. Day 9
19.50, bar Robroy
Them people who said wisteria is already blooming in Kameido tenjin - burn in hell! We went through all the trouble of getting there from Ginza only to see a single tree blooming and the rest of the shrine covered in thick green...
And still, today's 'Baddy Baddy' we have seen in Takarazuka is playing in my head. I would love to dance if I weren't so tired from walking to and from Kameido

My curious April. Day 7, part 2
21.33, Odaiba big top
The announcement on the entrance says if you apply at the ticket office after the performance you can get a 1500 yen discount for a ticket to another date. I can totally understand those who want to visit second time. The stage, the actors, the performers, the music - moreover it's live, everything is too great. I couldn't believe we got there when sitting just in front of the arena, and I cannot believe it even now when it's already ended.

My curious April. Day 5, part 3
17.33, Hie shrine
Zerotopia - that's what I'd recommend to anyone interested in musicals. I was asked by a reporter at Narita Airport what we came to see in Japan, and I said a big part of the entertainment was Japanese musicals. I was not wrong... Great songs, perfect dancing and singing, astonishing stage equipment, superb talent of all the performers... I won't forget it for a long time.
Some wisteria already in bloom here at Hie jinja. I like the gold decorations of the honden, but what we came to see is the red gate stairs.

My curious April. Day 5, part 1
11.51, Tokyo National art centre
Looking at Monet's 'Monet's garden in Giverny' I recall for some reason the scene when Gerda enters an old woman's garden with colourful flowers, and this childhood memory makes me feel warm. By the way, Monet's paintings are not too be looked at closely. They need to be admired from a distance.

My curious April. Day 4, part 3
19.27, Yokohama ramen museum
This is a magical place. I wouldn't think I could travel in time so easily. 'Miracle romance' from Sailor Moon after Lupin's theme, then Miyuki Nakajima's 'sora to kimi no aida'... I wonder what is happening in the 'school for adults' behind the closed doors... But we'll never know.

My curious April. Day 3, part 2
17.10, Inokashira park
This place is idyllic. Now I think I understand why so many people pinned Kichijoji as number 1 place they want to live in. I think I want to live here too. We have a plan already. Making art-house souvenirs and selling it on the local flea market. Art-house - we don't know how to say 'good-for-nothing' in a different mild way =)
