Last time we travelled to Kansai airport I was sleeping the whole time. Otherwise I couldn't have missed this mysterious scenery with mountains covered in mist. Misterious scenery  yeah

My Japanese tour 2016. Day 1

17.25 local time, in the plane from Narita to Itami
Previously when I was going to Osaka, it was December, so it was too dark outside to see anything, but now it's April and it's still visible... Fuji!

18.50, in a limousine bus from the airport to Kobe
They ask not to eat things that have strong smell, but U-chan is too hungry to abide :)

I say, Kobe reminds me of my hometown. It's it because both are port towns? It's dirtier and shabbier than most places I visited, but it's so homely.

On second thought, I must also say it's not very easy to understand when it comes to stations...

My trip to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk

This week I had the honour to represent my humble self at the Japanese language speech contest. So I had to go to Sakhalin for some three days!
My first thought after our plane landed - I wish our buses were as quick as the plane which tries to overcome its inertia after it lands...
Well the hostel was great. There were heating device, teapot and cups and dishes and hot water and whatever you may need. No WiFi, of course ^.^ oh, and there was no light in the shower room during the first evening, but that was endurable.
As for the rest, everything was quite nice. The people were all kind, and the weather was good, and I got the second place. And lived happily ever after.
