among many words that have different ways of pronunciation I dislike ['iːðə] most of all. this is impossible to explain with any kind of logic, this is just my internal feeling. I completely understand [dɪ'rekt] and [daɪ'rekt] and many others, but 'either' must start with 'ai' for me... >___<
