KiriMari, dancing starshine

when one has a lot of things to do, one often ends up doing nothing from the to-do list, but something completely irrelevant. so here it is, the result of my 'whatever but not preparing for the exam'
as always, I use videos with my favourite one and only Top Combi, this time pairing them with a wonderful song which is 33 years old already, but still sounds fresh and unique - 'Dansing Starshine' by Momoe Yamaguchi. I used to love this song until I made a video with it love this song because of its 80s mood (composed in 1980 exactly), vividness and brightness and warmness of the melody, and of course, the wonderful voice of ms Yamaguchi. the lyrics with translation will follow very soon in a separate post, but I can say now that I believe the words and the song title itself suit the two perfectly. they were are like starshine on the stage

how to embed an excerpt of a youtube video ~ since I cannot memorise it or find the original link anymore...

for some reason I cannot find the post with the link to the 'lesson' how to embed only a certain part of a YT video into your blogger post. at least, here is the principle how to do that
<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="***" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/_____?rel=0&amp;start=***&amp;end=***&amp;autoplay=0" width="***"></iframe>

instead of *** insert the number in pixels (usually 0 for border, 360 for height and 640 for width), instead of _____ insert the code of the video on YT, after 'start=' and 'end=' insert the time of start and end in seconds

video! Amore e Musica original by Russell Watson ~ am I biased, as usual?

let me be honest. I wasn't as impressed as Kiriya-sama by this song. needless to say, I like her version more - and this has nothing to do with the fact that I love her, the reason is that I think Mr Watson's voice doesn't fit this song. or... maybe... this is really because I heard Kiriya-sama's version first...?

links. Tudou Tsukigumi 'Takarazuka Oldies'

first is mamotte agetai by Manaki
this is like a new side of her to me. I loved her voice from the very beginning, but I thought she is always just a small cute girl and sings the same way. now I see I was wrong. she is sweet but not a luscious pretty-pretty. if she is like this, probably she will really be a strong musumeyaku of Moon Troupe...
you can easily see - or better to say, hear - that not any cover on a good song will be good... what I love in Takarazuka covers is that they never spoil the original even if the vocalist and arrangement is completely different
cover by some unknown to me cute girls
cover by Onitsuka Chihiro which I don't consider a very good one, but it shows respect to the original, and at the same time sounds like another song and has a lot of Onitsuka's style in it

original Yuumin's version

katte ni shiyagare by Ryuu
though her version is different from the original, I believe this was the right choice for Ryuu's voice. compare if you like

Sawada Kenji's version

crazy youtube ~ this is not even funny

if I were less farsighted, I would have no proof ever that I watched this video, but I did make something
I saw this page and I saw this video. I watched it till the end. now that I reloaded the page 'tis gone. not gone forever, but gone from the public. try yourself
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5vWHlm7oFg&feature=plcp
while this I obviously did watch, I can only ask you to believe me that I watched others too. you see here 1回目(14時の部) - 'the 1st time (at 14)', but first I watched the second event which took place at 6 o'clock. 'twas posted in another channel but was also marked as a video 'with a limited access'. and since I never received any invitations from the people who uploaded this, there is only one way I could get to this videos - they were in the column with 'similar' videos. if there is any common sense in me, then I think a videos with limited access shouldn't have been there from the start. still, 'twas in the list, and I opened them and watched them, and the orange line saying that this video has limited access was there when I opened the vid
now I don't understand anything.....
