associations. I finally understood

I finally understood. Similar songs in my mind are those that have the same colour. Seems like for years, I was unconsciously stopping myself from saying it because I knew only that few people would understand. It's a matter of my synesthesia. But here they are - white songs with tender pink wind blowing through them.

'Redline day' from 'Redline'

'Strangers' from 'Wolf's Rain'

IMHO. 'Redline' ~ Feelings to discover

I'm a simple person. Foreign planets, alien species, a car race that ends in fireworks and 'LOVE' written like a graffitti on a wall - and I'm all yours. Who needs your character development or story progress when it's beautiful. No, it's ugly, but it's so ugly that it's beautiful. And the ending song is so beautiful too. Sometimes 2 seasons of an anime, with each season being twice as long as a typical 'season', lose in depth to a 1 hour 40 minutes film. Oh, I'm not saying anything about 'Ah, My Goddess' that I've just watched, no. But it was perfectly enough to see those 15-second memories of JP to understand what's inside him. It was enough to hear him explain his circumstances in half a minute to know him well enough. It was enough to see a short TV report on the race participants to understand if not what they are, then at least, what they represent. And the design is crazy.

And when I say crazy, I mean crazy.

Just to think that this is a directorial debut for the director, one of the first works of the composer, and most voice actors were cinema actors invited specially instead of professional seiyuus!
You say I choose form over contents? I don't care. It was worth watching at least for the sake of hearing Takuya Kimura whisper 'I love you'.
