It's just that simple. If you're making fun of a certain genre, you have to make it... fun. If you're trying to introduce a dramatic element, there should be some drama in the story, in characters. If you use every possible cliche to show how lame it looks, make it really absurd. If you're showing how fanservice leads to unnatural developments, make it superfluous.
