delight, then epic fail, then hope, then anxiety, then relief

I finally made myself write a comprehensive "review" of the current playlist
first "oblivious" "took me high", then the others told me "we are not that great..." and I was disappointed as never before... but after 2-3 times of repeating the playlist I began to think "it`s not that bad"

"oblivious" is the only inspiring thing in the whole list. however there appeared to be several songs which are pretty good when used as a background (for shoujo manga, to be precise). well, namely
"kimi ga" - hey, who was the person who named it "kimi ga hikari ni kaete Iku"? have you ever listened to the song? she sings YUku, not Iku, just for you to know. I know this kanji could be read both ways, but hey, you`d better read the dictionary a little further than up to the 1st line
"kizuato" - well, a good sad song that gave me an opinion I cannot get rid of until now. why is one of the girls a soloist? it`s like Yuki-sensei prefers her voice. I think it`s Keiko whom I`d like to hear more - low trembling and strong voice reminding me of Takano Urara (though not as great as Takano`s, nobody ever could be that great, huh?)
"Oblivious (Fukan Fuukei Mix)" - not impressing, not even interesting... though I (usually) like different versions of the same song
"Kimi ga Hikari ni Kaete Iku (acoustic ver.)" - ugly. the background was changed and the chords do not even seem to support the vocalist as if she sings something wrong... but it`s the background that`s wrong!
"Kizuato (piano 2 mix)" - I didn`t even troubled to remember it... sorry, Yuki-sensei
"sprinter" - now that`s what I call music ^.^ em... I mean, there are albums named this way, you know? so, it was a funny joke (please laugh now). speaking seriously, this is a song energetic enough to make me wanna sing it and think of something. still I long for more Keiko`s voice. the soloist is  y`know sort of... bubblegum pop. sweet and soooo widespread voice, as if I`d heard it thousand times
"aria" - not too great, but the high notes are sung differently from the way she (the "soloist") does it in other songs, & this sounds good.
"fairytale" - it IS fairy, but not really tale... too sad. and I finally could enjoy Keiko`s (is it her... still idk)  voice at 2-20. I LOVE it.
"serenato" - once again those girls are expressing some pain and sadness... at the other hand I like the energy at the chorus and the syncopes in the end (somewhere at 3-50) which make the melody more interesting for me
"lacrimosa" - one more ugly song. Kajiura tried to show she is able to create a waltz? I know she can. tried to show she can be different and make her sound stronger? it`s not the best way... why is this like a song for a junior chorus in a musical school? soooo plain and boring... moreover, you, the soloist... singing out of tune! totally failed to sing the high notes... 3-07, it`s a heavy sin! conclusion: a great disappointment, really...
"gloria" - well, some time ago I could say this is a good sad song of an exhausted soul and it suits me so much... but now it doesn`t even touch me. the reason is, I`ve listened to tons of songs of this kind so I need something more to be touched. and I`m getting tired if this "latin" names. I understand the love for Latin, I love it too, but it`s too much & it starts to seem dishonest to me. I mean, do they really love Latin so much?
"love come down" - finally! they are showing some energy and the voice at 0-55 is so pretty ^___^ the chorus with oriental elements is also impressive, reminding of some old songs written for anime.
"natsu no ringo" - idk y the song`s name is so trivial but it`s really great! so niiiice, so fitting my current way of thinking...
"Mata Kaze ga Tsuyoku Natta" - again nothing. a bad attempt to show that Kajiura-sensei can do something j-rockish.
"ongaku" - it`s surprising how different are the impacts of songs which seem alike on the face of it. there are all the elements I like - low voice, guitar instrumental part, the most important - syncopes in the chorus. but the general impression is... strange. empty. really, idk if I`ll put it inside my walkman
"ashita no kiseki" - boring. nothing grasping your attention at all. sounds like a lullaby, but a distorted one
"seventh heaven" - for me, this name cannot belong to anything except fot KoBJ OVA. but it does... so, I`m not a fan of it. though it`s rather good.
"storia" - one more sad song... not very great and not very bad
"lirica" - shows that the soloist is able to sing the high notes. and nothing else, to be honest...
"progressive" - a great thing again. intro reminds me of the Noir osts very much, but the song itself doesn`t. the chorus is good, full of energy and feeling I like so much... maybe it`s some anger or revenge. or something like that... oh, what`s important! two girls are singing a phrase in unison. soooo dizzy
"utsukushisa" - better not exist. total boredom. a manque lullaby.
"hikari no senritsu" - this is WOW. at first I thought it to be one more stupid childish song but then I thought it`s the unique style which should be appreciated and percepted with happiness there still are those who like to create and sing simple and "kind" melodies. the vocal is soooo cute again and the mood in very nice. I believe that it really is the melody of the light (I think that`s the way the name of the song should be translated)
"sapphire" - ballad... sad and... boring
"red moon" - seemed interesting at first. but then... somewhere around 4 minuted I was waiting it to end but it didn`t... and I looked at the length... and I saw it was about 6 minutes... and I thought - what for should I listen to the repeated tune? it`s too gothic and... em... faded
"te to te to me to me" - very oriental, intricate (can I say this about a song?) and... boring. moodless. I mean, no exact mood or impression
"fantasia" - one more "latin" name and... bubblegum pop. sweet lyrics, cheap melody... this is how it sounds to me. the intro is Kajiura-like though
"haru wa kogane" - I`ve had some problems with downloading the album and finally I began to look forward to hearing the song... muri. it didn`t bring me any pleasure and thus it didn`t satisfy me after those long days of willing to learn what`s inside of it.
"Kyrie" - no I don`t hate all the gothic-style songs! ^.^ and this is a good example. this is really energetic and exalted (lemme call it this way)
"yami no uta" - yeah this is a song of darkness, but.... I won`t add it to my walkman playlist, nononooo never
"hoshi no utai" - the soloist is doing something interesting with her voice. but after several times listened the song becomes... well... like you`ve heard it thousand times before and you`re no longer surprised neither about the voice nor about the melody itself. one more question - why are the songs of darkness and of the stars so alike???
"I have a dream" - I was glad to see that the fact that the name of the song and the name of the 1st album of See-Saw are the same is just a coincidence. I like the song itself though the vocal is not too great, to tell the truth. well the mood of the song - calm and peaceful and reminding of something good - "rescues" the song for me. proper circumstances even make me wanna cry when I listen to this song
"kagayaku sora" - were they asked to create one more boring-gothic-pathetic-show-off? if yes, it`s a success! congratulations. it sounds like the singers ask "pleeease be sorry for me I`m in despair" but when they`re so appealing it seems untrue to me. however great they might sing
"adore" - this name reminds me of a Haibane song, but there`s no connection of course. this "adore" is totally different. it`s rhythmical, energetic and rather good though not very touching
"magia" - I don`t like the original version so...
"snow falling" - I believe it`ll be a good ost for "kara no kyoukai" but... unfortunately I`m not going to watch it and it doesn`t impress me much as a single
"magia magic mix" - oh the name os the song is great isn`t it. magic magia huh ^_^ the malody itself is the same but the arrangement is much better and suits the melody. it`s more expressive and maybe even wild. that`s why I like it (users of Beeline u understand me? I laik it - a sweet ads, yeah ^^`)

now I think I must finish this post `cause FJ waits to be described.
cu next time ^_^
