my humble opinion on 'Acchi Kocchi' ~ searching for some romance?

I knew almost exactly what to expect from it. the usual strange and funny Japanese humour reminding me of KwMs, DGC and Working. school, slice of life. I wonder why most descriptions of 'Acchi Kocchi' emphasize the relationships of Tsumiki and Io...

plot and characters
while these relationships are not even in the centre of the story. I am not saying they are unimportant, but those who aim to watch this must be primarily set for watching a good comedy which retained much from the original yonkoma style, not a story about a clumsy couple of high-schoolers
the characters themselves, however, are very good. each represents a certain 'type', and each adds something fresh to the type represented. situations the characters are involved in are typical, too, but enjoyable
the truth is, however, be there more than 13 episodes, I would not be able to stand it. to some extent, this kind of anime is tiring, as 'Acchi Kocchi', unfortunately, lacks the lightness of 'Working' and does not create that calming environment that we can see in, say, 'Tamayura'

seiyuus
guess who is the best seiyuu for a prince on a white horse considerate-caring-loving-etc. boyfriend? exactly what you could expect from Okamoto. though this time he had no room to show what he really can. I guess this was an easy job for him, not even in the least challenging or entertaining. yes, I am comparing with KwMs, cannot help it. am I exaggerating as well? at least, Usui's intonations were much more diverse and thus interesting
what can I say about other seiyuus? pretty nothing. Ookubo Rumi, unknown rookie she is to me, did probably a good job, being cute and all. at some point I even wanted to compare her to Sawashiro. and came to the conclusion Sawashiro was cuter. Sawashiro did create an unforgettable image. Ookubo will, unfortunately, remain only one of the fish in the sea, which are plenty, as we know
others were good but I did not even bother to read their names because they aroused no interest in me

music
awful OPEDs, following the same pattern as all comedy-slice-of-life-etc., which consists in seiyuus performing some positive and cute song. do you get it? 元気&かわいい - these two words come up to my mind when I hear something like what I heard in 'Acchi Kocchi'. as usual, I could not listen to those songs more than once and skipped the OPEDs in every episode. do people really buy CDs with such songs? if they do, for what purpose?
BGM. was there any? having watched 8 episodes out of 13 I realised I have failed to notice any music, and therefore I decided I must pay attention to it in the episodes left. and I failed again. BGM... was there any?

graphics
this is a praisworthy point of 'Acchi Kocchi'. warm bright colours, thick stylish outlines, everything contributes to the cute style of the anime. the most sophisticated object in the whole anime was the castle gate in Io's dream, the rest being absolutely plain and lacking details. not that there were meant to be any

p. s.
if you ask me who is my favourite character, then it would be undoubtedly the あらあら character - sister Miiko. I wish she had had more appearances together with her brilliant seiyuu Minaguchi-san...
