I keep saying rhododendron is a beautiful flower and since it's native to my region it should be planted everywhere across my hometown. This one is probably another species, we don't have these vivid colours. Spent some time admiring...

The season of cherry blossoms is coming to an end, petals are flying in the air every time the wind blows. Everything you say against this background becomes a haiku.

There's a table with local citrus fruit packed in groups of three. It's called amanatsu and I have no idea what it's like. Looks like oranges. The funniest thing is that there's a box for cash. 100 yen for a pack. The box is locked with a key but... You could simply take away the oranges... Or the box itself. The only thing they did to prevent thieving was to attach a picture with a sign: stealing is bad 🤘

Amanatsu is written with two kanji: sweet and summer. It's not summer and the fruit is not sweet. Maybe it will be sweet in summer? Or when it's summer everything tastes sweeter? Anyway I managed to eat only 1 of it. Too bitter 😅

What can be better. My dad wants to try takoyaki, the octopus balls in batter with dressing, even though I was worried he wouldn't eat Japanese food. What can be better than takoyaki done right...

I'd like my castle tall, white and surrounded by cherries please.

This is how you do museums - spacious, with items properly displayed and lit up.
17.25, Saikachi koji street
The best moments are probably caught there, on less crowded streets of residential areas.

Thank you, that person who invented the light bulb, and all those who contributed to its development into modern projectors.
