In front of me a guy with, obviously, his girlfriend were walking. Just before the road they suddenly stopped - there was a big trunk going fast up the road. I, too, noticed it and stopped. However, that happened maybe half a second later than they stopped. And during that half a second I noticed how the guy started turning around towards me as if he understood I was still going on walking ahead and wanted to prevent me from bumping right into that truck, but then he saw I stopped too and turned back to his girlfriend. All this happened in half a second.
I wonder if this is only a figment of my imagination, but...
it feels so good to be unexpectedly protected
